1749 Amelie is one of the most famous dressmaker in Paris. Serious and resting, she spends her time in designing patterns for the richest noble women of the city, regularly frequenter at Versailles.One night, she get involved by her colleague Annie to partecipate, covered by a mask, at a ball in the Opera. Here, she knows the attractive Count Pierre Lavois, but, for fear of being recognized by her usual clients, she run from the room before the end of the party. Summoned to the court by the King Louis XV, she not thinks to find the fine Count Lavois… And when Madame de Pompadour, the famous favorite of the king, asks her to establish at Versailles, to work like her dressmaker, the proximity between her and Pierre opens up new prospects…..
